How to Enable Case Sensitive Filtering in MDA

Depending on your MDA configuration, selecting case sensitive (or insensitive) filtering of search results by string columns might not be available.

In order to enable the case (in)sensitive filtering, perform the following configuration in the MDC model project:

  1. Open a master entity for editing: Logical Model > Master Data Layers > [master layer] > [master entity].
  2. Switch to the GUI Settings tab.
  3. Enter the Restrict GUI Columns dialog.
  4. Uncheck Load All Columns.

  5. Specify all columns that should be displayed in MDA (click Fill Columns to add all columns).

  6. For all STRING columns that should have the case sensitivity switch enabled, set the  Index Type to BOTH.
