Date Columns in RDM Show Different Time in Different Environments and Time Zones
Reported for version 10
Date columns in RDM show different time in different environments and time zones
The difference in times is the intended behavior of the application. The timestamp is stored in the RDM database as an absolute value without a specific timezone. When the value is displayed, Windows settings of the time zone are used to present the correct moment in the absolute time. This way, if two people are working on the same database in different time zones, they will see the accurate time when a change occurs regardless of the time zone.
If it is important for you to see the time according to the specific time zone you can change the time zone setting in Windows. After you refresh the page, the time changes accordingly.
