Is it possible to connect to Content Management Systems like Documentum & Sharepoint using Generic Data Reader step or Adapter Input / Output?
It is possible to connect to other third party software through adapters. Try finding a suitable JDBC driver for these platforms. The connection is configured via a JDBC reader step. The purpose of the Generic Data Reader is stream reading from a generic binary file on a disk, it could not be used for reading from a database or for working with third party software.
The Adapter Reader step is used for adapters from Information Builders. At this time there are not any adapters specifically for Sharepoint or Documentum platforms.
